Solid and Hazardous Waste – Lead Contaminated Soil Remediation

Location: North Kingstown, Rhode Island

Description:

• Evaluated impacts of lead soil contamination from lead based exterior coating systems on water storage tanks at three separate tank sites
• Site evaluation completed under RIDEM Site Investigation Regulations
• In addition to three contaminated tank sites, seven (7) offsite private properties also impacted
• Developed RIDEM approved Site Investigation Work Plans, Site Investigation Reports and Remedial Action Work Plans
• Conducted an extensive program of sampling and analysis at all impacted sites
• Participated in public hearings regarding impacts to private properties
• Provided bidding and construction services for remedial projects including 40-Hour OSHA Trained Haz Mat inspectors.
